Inspired by gorilla trekking tours in Uganda and Rwanda. The artist, Ema Kato, always sets out to capture the appearance, character and way of life of the mountain gorillas, which he later depicts and potrays onto the canvas. He has created a series gorilla artworks in both paintings and mixed media styles of art.
